Marathon Update 1.0.9.1 Patch Notes (26th May 2026)
Marathon's latest patch tidies up loot UI, fixes Rook getting stuck inside shipping containers, and addresses a Cryo Archive exploit that let Crews sneak into the airlock after the Compiler engaged.

Rook was apparently spending too much time inside shipping containers on Perimeter, which is not where you want your Runner when a squad is pushing through. Update 1.0.9.1 is live today and that's fixed, alongside a handful of other issues that have been quietly annoying players since launch.
The loot preview bug is probably the one most players will notice. If you were inspecting nearby items and seeing the wrong gear flash up before it corrected itself, that's gone now. There's also a Cryo Archive fix that closes off a fairly significant exploit: Crews could enter the airlock even after the Compiler had already been engaged, which is exactly the sort of thing that shouldn't be possible in a game where map control matters this much. A disappearing chunk of the Hauler map at certain distances rounds out the zone fixes.
It's a small patch overall, more housekeeping than overhaul, but the stability improvements and UI corrections suggest Bungie is keeping a close eye on the rough edges. Everything in the update is listed below.
