MapleStory v.268 Maple University Patch Notes

Twenty-one years is a long run for any live-service game, and Nexon is marking it with v.268 Maple University, dropping today. The theme is campus life, which is a very MapleStory way to celebrate a milestone, lean into the chaos, slap a school uniform on it, and send Pink Bean out to cheer everyone on.

Pink Bean returning as the anniversary mascot is a nice touch for veterans. The mascot has been part of MapleStory's identity for years, and seeing it front and centre for a 21st anniversary event rather than a generic celebration feels deliberate. If you've been away from Maple for a while, an anniversary update is usually one of the better times to check back in; these events tend to pack in rewards and limited content worth logging on for.
