inZOI [v0.8.4] Hotfix Details Patch Notes (13th May 2026)

A small but focused hotfix for inZOI lands today, targeting broken Zoi needs and vehicle simulation errors that were disrupting city life.

Two days after v0.8.3 patched out infinite NPC spawns, Krafton is back with another small stabilisation pass. The v0.8.4 hotfix went live today on both Windows and Mac Steam builds, and while the changelog is short, the fixes address things that were undermining the core loop.

The headline gameplay fix is Zoi needs not decreasing properly. In a life sim, that's about as fundamental as it gets, if your Zois aren't getting hungry, tired, or socially drained, the whole simulation loses its teeth. City vehicle simulation errors are also resolved, which had been causing erratic traffic behaviour across districts. Crash and freezing fixes round out the patch, which should help stability for anyone who's been hitting hard stops mid-session.

Nothing here is flashy, but steady hotfix cadence matters in Early Access, and Krafton has been reasonably consistent about shipping targeted fixes rather than letting issues pile up. Mods will be auto-disabled on update as usual, so remember to reactivate them once you're back in. Everything in the update is listed below.
