ICARUS Hotfix Version: 2.4.1 Homestead Notes (Feb 27, 2026)
ICARUS hotfix 2.4.1 is a small but targeted patch for Homestead players who found their newly tamed wolves locked out of the update's new phenotype options.

Small patch, specific problem. ICARUS hotfix 2.4.1 landed on February 27, 2026, and it exists for one reason: the Homestead update introduced new phenotypes for tamed wolves, and a bug was quietly blocking players from actually selecting them.
If you tamed a wolf after the Homestead update dropped and wondered why the new coat options weren't showing up, this is your fix. Newly tamed wolves will now correctly surface the new phenotypes during selection. Wolves you already have in your camp may need a fresh tame to take advantage of the new looks.
It's a narrow fix, but wolf companions are a real part of how players engage with ICARUS's survival loop, so leaving that feature broken wasn't an option. Full patch notes below.
Contains the Following Fixes
- Fixed an issue which was preventing the new phenotypes of tamed wolves from being selected, this has now been correct and newly tamed wolves can now select the new phenotypes
The full patch notes are available from the game's official channels.
