Halls of Torment HoT Fixes | 20 Patch Notes (14th April 2026)
A small but focused stability patch for Halls of Torment lands today, targeting crashes that were hitting ability-heavy builds hardest.
No new content in today's HoT Fixes update, but if you've been running dense ability and modifier builds and hitting crashes deep into a session, this one's for you.
The two main fixes here address resource leaks during loading and unreliable background object preparation. In practice, that means longer sessions on heavy builds should hold together better, and you're less likely to lose a solid run to a random crash. The Wave Spawner also got additional safety checks to prevent rare enemy spawn issues, which is the sort of silent problem that can quietly ruin a run without you ever knowing why it felt off.
Small patch, but the right priorities. Stability work in a game where runs can stretch long matters more than it might look on paper. Here's the full breakdown.

A small stability and bug fix update for you today.
Bug Fixes
- Wave Spawner received additional safety checks to prevent rare issues with enemy spawns.
Stability
- Fixed an issue that could cause resource leaks during loading, which in some cases could lead to crashes or degraded performance over longer sessions.
- Improved the reliability of how game objects are prepared in the background, reducing the chance of rare crashes — especially in ability- and modifier-heavy builds.
