FragPunk Update Announcement: New Content for Season (8th July 2026)
The July 9th update strips back Fragpunk's Shard Card pool across multiple modes and rebalances several Lancers, including tweaks to Broker, Zephyr, and Dex.

Fragpunk's maintenance window on July 9th at 10:00 AM (UTC+8) brings a significant pruning of its Shard Card ecosystem. Shard Clash loses 62 cards, Chaos Clash sheds 32, and Deathmatch swaps 14 for 14 new ones. That's not window dressing. The meta's getting a hard reset, and the removal list reads like a purge of the most disruptive abilities in rotation.
On the Lancer side, Broker's Goddard's Vengeance rocket now deals more damage in a wider radius but falls off faster at range, while Zephyr's Fade Away domain shrinks from 16 seconds to 12 and her invisibility resets when she enters it. Dex's Mimic Trap flips from a setup tool into a punishing counter-play device, now damaging and exposing whoever triggers it. The team's also refined skill feel across 11 Lancers and added dedicated HUD indicators for six of them, signalling a push toward clearer feedback.
Season 5 Chapter 2 kicks off with the Dreamland Headshots Battle Pass, new skins for Pathojen and Ixchel, and a ranked event offering Rank Protection Cards. Full patch details, including every Shard Card requirement change and weapon timing adjustment, are below.
