Patch 1.21 for Farming Simulator 25 Notes (28th July 2026)
Patch 1.21 lands across PC and consoles with targeted fixes for Precision Farming's sprayer application logic and a broad sweep of pack-specific improvements.

Patch 1.21 for Farming Simulator 25 is rolling out across PC and consoles today, with the heaviest focus on Precision Farming's application systems and a scatter of fixes across licensed equipment packs. The patch is staged, so availability varies by platform and region, and crossplay services may experience interruption during the rollout window. If you use mods or custom graphics settings, expect stuttering on your first launch after updating, as the engine will recompile shaders.
The most consequential changes sit in Precision Farming 1.1.0.0. Sprayers with empty tanks were calculating section valid and uncovered states incorrectly, which meant application rates could be wrong even when you thought your coverage was correct. That fix matters because it directly affects yield outcomes and environmental scoring, especially for players running precision mode saves where every application is tracked. Tramlines now reset when you buy a farmland, which removes a friction point where old lines would persist and throw off your next field's guidance. Manual soil sampling has been corrected to properly influence environmental score, addressing a system that was silently broken. The patch also strips out sprayer nozzle on/off sounds that were causing audio issues, a change that won't be noticed until you realise your audio is no longer glitching mid-spray.
Outside Precision Farming, the fixes are narrower and pack-specific. The Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack 1.3.0.0 addresses AI helpers failing to unload hooklift containers and the Unimog U 1800-2400, which means if you were relying on automation for those tasks, it now works. The MacDon Pack 1.2.0.0 improves harvesting on uneven ground, a practical gain for players working hilly terrain. Highlands Fishing Pack 1.4.0.0 fixes seat suspension camera behaviour on the New Holland T8000 Series and restores missing gear shift sounds. The Versatile DeltaTrack in Plains and Prairies Pack 1.4.0.0 gets improved steering angle tuning. These are not headline changes, but they address specific equipment behaviour that was either broken or suboptimal.
Console players get a dedicated fix: larger mod downloads that were failing on certain network configurations are now resolved on Xbox. The Moza Farming Control System also receives key binding improvements. One note worth tracking: the patch mentions stuttering on first launch due to shader recompilation, which is expected but can be pronounced if you run a large mod library.
What is absent matters as much as what is here. This patch does not address the broader performance issues some players report on older hardware, nor does it tackle any of the known issues with certain vehicle physics interactions beyond the specific wheel clipping and curb-catching bug. The scope is tight: Precision Farming application logic, pack stability, and platform-specific network and audio problems. If your complaint sits outside those zones, this patch passes you by.
