EA has dropped an exciting update for UFC 5 just in time for UFC 300 this weekend. The latest update, version 1.007.001, brings a host of new content to the game that will surely get you hyped up for the big event. Let's dive into what's in store!

One of the highlights of the update is the addition of custom UFC 300 shorts for fighters. These flashy new shorts are sure to make your favorite fighters stand out in the octagon. Which design will you choose as your favorite? The options are endless, so pick wisely and show off your style in the ring!

Get ready for some epic showdowns with the all-new Alter Ego UFC Champions II series. Step into the shoes of some of the greatest fighters in UFC history and relive their iconic moments. With new Pick Em's, Alter Ego fighters, and Fight Week challenges, you'll be closer to the action than ever before. Plus, you can even download the legendary Mike Tyson for free during UFC 300 weekend. Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate greatness!

But that's not all! EA has also announced the addition of 3 new fighters to the game -

  • Robert Whittaker (MW) from UFC 225:
    • After a close and contentious battle for the interim UFC Middleweight Championship between Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker, the pair would throw down once more with Whittaker taking the split decision, shutting down the thoughts of a trilogy and proving once again that you should fear The Reaper.
  • Max Holloway (FW) from UFC 231:
    • Max ā€œBlessedā€ Holloway battered Brian Ortega from bell to bell throughout four rounds only pausing to show T-City some boxing techniques mid-fight and then getting a doctorā€™s stoppage to extend his win streak to thirteen.
  • Chris Weidman (MW) from UFC 187:
    • From dethroning and defending against divisional GOAT Anderson Silva, solving the dangerous riddle of Lyoto Machida, and culminating with a first-round finish of the always dangerous Vitor ā€œThe Phenomā€ Belfort at UFC 187 ā€” ā€œThe All-Americanā€ has worked for every title he has had wrapped around his waist in the Octagon.

And the excitement doesn't stop there. EA has revealed that players can expect a total of 30 new fighters to be added to the game from this month through June. That's right, 30 new fighters to choose from, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to expand your roster with some fresh faces!

With all these new additions and updates, EA UFC 5 is shaping up to be one of the best MMA games on the market. So grab your controller, step into the Octagon, and show the world what you're made of!
