EVE Online Patch Notes for 20 .1 (29th April 2026)

EVE Online's latest update arrives as roughly 6,000 players clash over a Keepstar in one of the game's biggest ongoing conflicts.

Timing is everything in New Eden. The 29th April 2026 update has landed on the same day that the WinterCo staging Keepstar in 4-HWWV is under siege by The Imperium and Initiative forces, with around 6,000 players reportedly engaged in the fight over the final timer. If you've ever wanted to see what EVE looks like at its most chaotic, today is probably the day.

As for the patch itself, CCP hasn't dropped a sweeping overhaul here, but updates during active wartime always carry extra weight in EVE. Even small balance or infrastructure changes can ripple out in ways that matter when thousands of pilots are actively shooting each other over one of the game's most strategically valuable structures.
