Dune: Awakening 1.4.5.0 Patch Notes (10th June 2026)
The anniversary hotfix brings new cosmetics and tackles self-hosted server infrastructure problems.

1.4.5.0 marks Dune: Awakening's first anniversary, and the studio is marking the occasion with new cosmetics rather than major gameplay overhauls. You're getting the 'Contemplation Tea House' decoration set and 'Master Operative of the Dunes' light armor, which is the kind of seasonal reward you'd expect.
The real meat of this update sits in self-hosted server improvements. If you're running your own battlegroup, the patch addresses a frustrating DHCP bug that would randomly reassign IPs even when static settings were locked in, breaking player connections. There's also proper polling for start/stop operations now, so battlegroups won't report ready until they actually are, and you can now adjust the broadcasted IP after initial setup instead of being locked into your original choice.
Minor but welcome: in-game event notifications now respect your local timezone and won't spam you every time you change maps or log in. Check the full notes for the complete server-side fixes.

Features and Changes
- New cosmetic rewards added for Anniversary Event. Happy first anniversary!
- ‘Contemplation Tea House’ decoration set
- ‘Master Operative of the Dunes’ light armor
- Added an option to change the static IP or DHCP setting after setup.
- Added proper polling for Start/Stop battlegroup operations, so now stop only finishes when the battlegroup is fully stopped, and start only fires after all services are ready. This is needed as the IP change requires a VM reboot, and a proper battlegroup shutdown is required.
- Fixed an issue where sometimes DHCP would update the IP to a different one, even when a VM used a static IP, breaking connections.
- You can now set the IP Battlegroups to advertise for players to join. Before, it was only available during setup. If a public IP option is picked, the IP will also be auto-refreshed across battlegroup start/restart.
- Added an option to change the battlegroup's broadcasted IP after setup, and moved the logic inside the VM for usage within Linux.
- The battlegroup edit has now options for the director so that users can adjust settings like "Minimum Servers" for each map, and the adjusted settings will persist with battlegroup restarts.
Fixes
- Fixed in-game event notifications to correctly display players' local time zone.
- In-game event notifications are no longer triggered on map change and on every login.
