Dune: Awakening - 1.3.20.1 Hotfix Patch Notes (6th May 2026)
Funcom's latest hotfix for Dune: Awakening tightens up vehicle interactions and unblocks players stuck at Rank 19 after betraying their faction.
A small but targeted hotfix for Dune: Awakening dropped today, and the vehicle changes are the headline. Players can no longer disassemble vehicles they don't have landclaim permission for, vehicles that are airborne, or vehicles sitting too close to another player's ride. It's an obvious grief-prevention measure, and I'm surprised it wasn't in from launch, the potential for abuse there was pretty clear.
The fix that'll matter most to a specific slice of the playerbase, though, is the Rank 19 progression unblock. If you betrayed your faction at Rank 20 and found yourself permanently stuck at 19 with no way forward, 1.3.20.1 sorts that out. Progression bugs that wall players out of content are always priority fixes, so it's good to see this addressed quickly. There's also a fix for abilities occasionally failing to target enemies, which in a game where combat reads can mean life or death on Arrakis, is more impactful than it sounds.
This is a client-side update, so restart your Steam client if it doesn't pull down automatically. Everything in the update is listed below.
