Dune: Awakening - 1.3.20.0 Patch Notes (28th April 2026)
Dune: Awakening's latest patch splits the Deep Desert into dedicated PvE and PvP instances and cleans up some long-standing Testing Station frustrations.
The biggest addition in 1.3.20.0 is the one players have been asking about since launch: dedicated PvE and PvP Deep Desert instances. Every official World will now have at least one of each, and Hagga Basin goes fully PvE across the entire map, shipwrecks included. If you've been avoiding the Deep Desert because you didn't want to lose a spice run to a ganker, that excuse is gone.
The Overland Imperial Testing Stations also get some meaningful tuning. Boss health when fighting in groups has been reduced, loot is no longer skewed toward specific weapons like "The Ancient Way" and "Pyrockets", and Stillsuit pieces have been deprioritised in favour of actual combat drops. The loot table changes in particular feel overdue, nobody was thrilled to crack open a boss chest and fish out another Stillsuit.
Furimanc also flagged that self-hosted servers are still coming, just not yet, with more technical groundwork needed before release. Everything in the update is listed below.
Full Patch Notes
Hey there Sleepers,
This update comes with an exciting introduction that you may have seen in our latest developer blog: PvE and PvP Deep Desert instances! We also have changes to Testing Station bosses and loot, performance improvements, various fixes, and more. Take a look, try it out, and let us know what you think!
We also wanted to mention that self-hosted servers will be enabled at a later date. There are more technicalities to sort before we would like to release it, but we’ll be sure to keep you all updated on this. We know it’s something many of you are looking forward to, so we’re working hard on making it available as soon as possible!
