Don't Starve Together Game Update - 728321 Patch Notes (13th May 2026)

Klei drops a small but focused hotfix for Don't Starve Together, cleaning up a projectile physics issue and a server-side slash command bug.

A small one from Klei today. Update 728321 is a targeted hotfix rather than a content drop, shipping with two fixes that address some post-update rough edges.

The more noticeable of the two is a fix for certain projectiles getting stuck on physics and lingering past their intended lifetime. In a game where combat timing and world clutter both matter, rogue projectiles hanging around longer than they should could throw off encounters in ways that are hard to diagnose mid-run. The other fix targets server-side handling of slash commands, which is the sort of behind-the-scenes issue that tends to cause inconsistent or broken behaviour for server admins and modders more than regular players.

Neither fix is flashy, but Klei continuing to push targeted corrections quickly is exactly how post-launch support should work. Full patch notes below.
