Season Meltdown arrives June 30 with a new Engineer operator, two maps, fresh weapons, and a radiation-based Black Site system. Here's what's changing.

Delta Force's biggest update of the year drops June 30 with Season Meltdown, and it's packed. New Engineer operator N-Two brings a frost launcher and cryo-flask that can freeze enemies and even lock doors, a different playstyle compared to what's already in rotation. Two new maps round out the seasonal content: AZ3 Nuclear Plant for Operations with a radiation mechanic that actually matters to your loadout, and Coliseum for Warfare, which branches into two entirely different scenarios depending on whether an incoming missile gets intercepted.

Weapon-wise, you're getting the RM277 assault rifle and SVCH marksman rifle, plus six new ammo types that do more than just tweak numbers. The overpressure rounds slow enemies on hit, the CT ammo deals massive limb damage but tanks your ADS spread, and the PAB variants apply vulnerability effects that stack up to 60% bonus damage on specific body parts. That's the kind of depth that rewards loadout theory-crafting. A new CSV-35 transport helicopter and the Decontamination Chamber Black Site system round out the mechanical additions.

The update requires 33.5 GB on PC and goes live across all platforms June 30. Ranked matches shut down briefly starting at 00:30 UTC that morning.

Dear Operators,

We plan to release a non-stop update for PC, mobile, and console versions on June 30, launching the new season "Meltdown," the biggest update of the year!

The expected update cadence for the PC version is as follows:

At 00:30 UTC+0 on June 30, Operations and Warfare ranked matches will be off-season and temporarily closed.

At 01:59 UTC+0 on June 30, the Operations entrance and matchmaking mode will be closed, and the Market and Auction House functions will be disabled.

At 02:00 UTC+0 on June 30, the PC update will be available.

Reminder: This PC update requires downloading 33.5 GB of content; the Steam update package is approximately 57.3 GB. If you encounter any issues after the update, try restarting the game to complete the update.

Here are the main contents of the new season:

New Engineer Operator — N-Two, new Operations map — AZ3 the nuclear power plant, new Warfare map — Coliseum; new vehicles; new loadouts; new Operations features; new systems in Black Site; all-new weapons and ammo, plus plenty of QoL optimizations!

NEW OPERATOR

Engineer Operator: Gabriel Mercier, Code Name: N-Two

●Frost Launcher

Temporarily equip a launcher that can fire up to six frost grenades. Grenades explode on impact, dealing damage and freezing enemies. Consecutive shots increase fire rate.

●Cryo-Flask

Throw a frost canister that releases freezing gas on impact, forming a subzero zone. Enemies inside continuously accumulate freeze effects and cough violently. Can also freeze closed doors.

●Homing Stun Grenade

Throw an auto-tracking stun grenade that disrupts enemy vision and deals damage.

●Frost Effect (Operations)

Low temperature gradually slows enemy movement until they are completely frozen. In Operations, reduces enemy fracture resistance.

● Freeze Buildup (Warfare)

Low temperature gradually slows enemy movement until they are completely frozen. In Warfare, reduces vehicle handling.

Operation

New Map—AZ3 Nuclear Plant

● Added Operations new map: AZ3 Nuclear Plant;

● Easy and Normal Operations will be hosted here. Normal Operation entry cost: 112,500 Tekniq Alloys.

● Entering leak zones and searching radiation containers builds up radiation exposure, which affects your character.

New Boss—Neural Device Agent H1000 (AZ3 Nuclear Plant)

● Neural Device Agents lurk deep within the core facilities of AZ3 Nuclear Plant. Outfitted with Neural Devices and jacked into Skynet, they are fast, lethal, and unpredictable. Approach with extreme caution.

Warfare

New Map

● Major Event—Two Branches:

○ Stray Thunder: The Haavk rocket is intercepted by a missile, and the resulting debris rains down on the city of Claudia;

○ Thunderstrike: The Haavk rocket is not intercepted and crashes directly into the Coliseum, where both sides clash in a final showdown.

New Vehicle

● Added CSV-35 Transport Helicopter;

● A tiltrotor aircraft that combines helicopter vertical takeoff capability with fixed-wing flight speed. It can rapidly deploy combat personnel to target locations, and its modifiable weapon systems give it respectable self-defense capabilities.

New Weapon

● Added RM277 Assault Rifle, using 6.8x51mm caliber ammo;

● Added SVCH Marksman Rifle, using 7.62x54Rmm caliber ammo.

● Added 5.8x42mm DVC12+P Season Limited Ammo

○ Overpressure ammo with Level 5 penetration;

○ Hitting enemy operators slows them and increases their hit flinch;

○ Reduces weapon recoil and improves stability when this ammo is loaded.

● Added 5.8x42mm DBP10+P Season Limited Ammo

○ Overpressure ammo with Level 4 penetration;

○ Hitting enemy operators slows them and increases their hit flinch;

● Added 9x19mm CT Ammo

○ Ammo with Level 0 penetration;

○ Deals 1.75x damage to limbs (i.e., base limb damage × 1.75);

○ Adds random ADS spread and reduces recoil control when this ammo is loaded;

○ Cannot be stored in a Safe Box.

● Added .45 ACP CT Ammo

○ Ammo with Level 0 penetration;

○ Deals 1.6x damage to limbs (i.e., base limb damage × 1.6);

○ Adds random ADS spread and reduces recoil control when this ammo is loaded;

○ Cannot be stored in a Safe Box.

● Added 6.8x51mm PLY-I Ammo

○ Level 3 penetration;

○ Armor Penetration Multiplier: 0.9x;

○ Max stack size per slot: 90 rounds;

○ Improves recoil control when firing continuously.

● Added 6.8x51mm PLY-II Ammo

○ Level 4 penetration;

○ Armor Penetration Multiplier: 0.9x;

○ Max stack size per slot: 90 rounds;

○ Hitting an enemy applies a 3-second vulnerability effect to the struck body part, increasing damage taken to that area from subsequent hits;

○ Damage bonus to a single body part caps at 60%.

○ Hitting an enemy applies a 3-second vulnerability effect to the struck body part, increasing damage taken to that area from subsequent hits;

○ Provides a clean sight picture;

■ Added a fast reload method.

● Compound Bow HVK Speed Magazine

○ Operations:

■ Fire Rate increase: 182 rpm → 227 rpm.

● ASh-12 Battle Rifle HVK Binary Trigger Kit

○ Fires two rounds simultaneously per trigger pull;

○ Supports trajectory offset calibration;

○ Operations:

■ Damage Specialization: 42;

■ Armor Penetration Specialization: 45;

■ Control: +8;

■ Handling: -2;

■ Hip Fire Accuracy: +8;

■ Fire Rate reduction: 500 rpm → 400 rpm.

○ Warfare

■ Damage Specialization: 30;

■ Control: +6;

■ Handling: -2;

■ Hip Fire Accuracy: +8.

New Black Site System: Decontamination Chamber

● Provides increased radiation resistance and natural radiation decay.

○ Level 1 effect: Radiation tolerance: Weak → Normal, Radiation natural decay kicks in earlier: 15s → 10s;

○ Level 2 effect: Radiation tolerance: Normal → Strong; Radiation natural decay is faster: +0 → +20%;

○ Level 3 effect: Radiation tolerance: Strong → Very Strong; Radiation natural decay kicks in earlier: 10s → 5s; Radiation natural decay is faster: +20% → +50%.

● Operations Level 9 unlocks Decontamination Chamber Tier 1, Level 14 unlocks Tier 2, and Level 27 unlocks Tier 3.

Season Mission System Update

● S9 Season Mission Reset: All progress on Season 9 missions will be completely reset and cleared. Any Ultimate Safe Box Season Access from previous seasons, along with any Safe Box Trial Cards (used or not), will expire and become invalid.

● S10 Season Mission Update: Season 10 kicks off with a brand-new mission line for operators to challenge.

● Added Season Mission Investigation Board: As players work through the Season Mission main storyline, they will steadily uncover intel surrounding the major events at AZ3 Nuclear Plant, building out an investigation board. Players can visit the Investigation Board at any time to check their progress and review gathered materials.

● S10 Season Mission Choice: In the Season Mission main storyline, the fate of AZ3 Nuclear Plant's core facilities will play out differently depending on each Operator's choices...

○ Depending on the choice made in the final mission, the S10 Season Mission badge will come in 2 distinct styles;

○ Operators can only obtain 1 badge based on their choice;

○ Badge styles and names are for Operators to discover for themselves in-game.

● Character Perspective & Control Optimizations:

○ Added leg model display in first-person view on mobile (compatible with most devices);

○ Added relevant Operator voice lines when using markers to request squadmate skills;

○ Fixed jitter and pulling issues when mantling;

○ Improved logic for entering the prone position;

○ Improved the pose when holding a chainsaw melee weapon while prone;

○ Improved reload and weapon-switching performance while prone;

○ Improved water surface interaction effects for characters;

○ Fixed stuttering issues when characters fall in certain situations;

● Fixed occasional visual anomalies in the Firing Range (e.g., missing bullet holes, lingering effect residue);

● Fixed an issue where the MK4 Deep Space Chrome Barrel's actual range stat did not match the stat shown in the panel;

● Fixed an issue where the AR57 Nightingale Suppressed Integral Barrel displayed abnormal visual effects when firing;

● Improved the 1P-33 2/4x Scope's compatibility; it can now be used on more weapons;

● Improved the VMX Frameless Sight's compatibility; it can now be fitted on the AR57 Assault Rifle and as an upper secondary sight on select high-magnification scopes;

● Fixed an issue where the OE2 Combat Stimulant occasionally failed to restore Stamina.

Operations

● Hot Zone:

○ Automatic weapons now come equipped with the Blinding Flashlight munition;

○ Added Set options for the AR57 Assault Rifle, M82 Sniper Rifle, MCX LT Assault Rifle, and MK4 Submachine Gun;

○ Added Stamina Injectors to each loadout to improve Operator mobility on select maps.

● The M82 Sniper Rifle can now deal damage to Chariot-type vehicle equipment in Operations mode.

● Improved Medical Item recommendation logic; added Injector recommendation logic.

Warfare

● Attack and Defend Mode New Mechanic: Secondary Objective

○ After attackers capture a secondary objective, holding it for 60 seconds without defenders recapturing it allows attackers to redeploy there;

○ Secondary objective ownership does not affect overall sector capture progress;

○ Currently applicable sectors: Coliseum Objective B, Objective D; Monument Objective D.

● Warfare Scene Optimization: Environmental Burning

○ On PC, all vegetation and certain objects on Warfare maps can now be ignited, dealing damage and spreading fire within a set radius;

○ Currently applicable maps: Coliseum;

○ More maps will be added in future updates.

● Map Vehicle Adjustments:

○ Akh Canal - A/D & Victory Unite: The Assault Vehicle added for attackers in Sector B when low on Troop Force has been replaced with a CSV-35 Transport Helicopter; one Assault Vehicle has been removed from the defenders in Sector D and replaced with one LAV-AA;

○ Fault - A/D: Adjusted the initial deploy position of the attackers' ground vehicle in Sector A; the attackers' Assault Helicopter in Sector B has been replaced with a CSV-35 Transport Helicopter;

○ Ascension - A/D: Added a score-based CSV-35 Transport Helicopter for both attackers and defenders in Sector D.

● Threshold - Attack and Defend:

○ Adjusted the attackers' redeployment zone in Sector B to prevent players from spawning inside concrete barriers and getting stuck;

○ Airdrops cannot be called in while on the Sector C rooftop.

● Trench Lines:

○ Performance Optimization: Optimized artillery shell visual effects in Sector B on PC to improve frame rate performance;

○ Attack and Defend: Adjusted the combat zone at the Sector B hilltop to ease pressure on attackers.

● Monument:

○ Added a secondary objective to Sector D, opening up more routes and footholds for attackers.

● Added Fixed Weapons: Vulcan Cannon, Auto Vulcan Cannon;

○ The Auto Vulcan Cannon targets enemy aircraft within range; the closer the target, the higher the attack efficiency;

○ The Vulcan Cannon will replace some existing 30mm AA Guns on current maps.

● New Vehicle—CSV-35 Transport Helicopter: The CSV-35 Transport Helicopter is now available for deployment on select maps.

● Added Dynamic Deployment Positions for Aircraft:

○ Vehicle spawn locations are randomly selected within a defined area; if enemy units are present in the area, the spawn position and orientation will adjust accordingly;

○ Currently available modes: Fault - A/D & Victory Unite, Threshold - A/D & Victory Unite;

○ Will be rolled out to more map modes based on Operator feedback in future updates.

● Improved Flamethrower flame penetration in Warfare.

● Improved the color styling of certain information broadcasts.

● Fixed abnormal redeployment point issues in Knife Edge - King of the Hill;

● Fixed abnormal redeployment point issues in Aftershock - Team Deathmatch;

● Fixed an issue where the "Failed to destroy enemy High-Threat Vehicle" voice broadcast behaved abnormally in Victory Unite mode;

● Fixed lingering Burn sound effect issues.

System Optimization

All Modes

● Increased the number of Operators available for selection at account creation;

● Tutorial: Added a system gameplay tutorial;

● Lobby Emotes: Added interactive emote functionality to the Squad lobby—play Operator animations and sync them with squadmates in real time; added a new entry point next to the chat emoji button (Shortcut: F2);

● Chat System: Added timestamp display to private chat and squad channels on PC;

● New Achievements:

○ G.T.I. Superman: In a Normal AZ3 Nuclear Plant match, eliminate 7 enemy Operators in a single match while under maximum radiation exposure;

○ Carjacked: Successfully commandeer an enemy ground Chariot-type vehicle once (Ranked or Victory Unite matches only; Assault Vehicles, ATVs, and Light Tactical Vehicles excluded);

● Match Rating Optimization: "Melee Weapon Master"—the qualification condition in Operations mode has been adjusted to eliminating 10 enemies;

● New Title Popup Optimization: A title showcase popup now appears when a new title is earned, with a quick-equip option available directly from the popup.

● Deluxe Charm Cabinet:

○ Added the Deluxe Charm Cabinet system, accessible via Collectibles > Owned Deluxe Charms; any Deluxe Charm can be displayed in the cabinet;

○ After collecting all Legendary Deluxe Charms of the new season (including Hidden Editions), a season-exclusive Charm Cabinet effect can be activated;

○ More past season themes will be added in future updates.

● Deluxe Market: Added an Appearance Recommendations tab for Legendary Deluxe Appearances, featuring appearance template recommendations and sales rankings. (Spectrum Blitz and Medusa will be added in a future update.)

● Melee Weapon Favorite Appearance: Melee weapons already in your collection can be added to Favorites from the Collectibles page; upon entering a match, a random Favorite Appearance will be equipped.

● Map Rotation: The Operations map rotation for the new season is as follows.

● Black Site: Reduced the crafting cost of .50 BMG caliber ammo;

● Supply Station: Added the AZ3 Nuclear Plant Lv.4 Keycard Selection Pack and Rare Keycard Selection Pack under T&E Lab - Card Holder, available for a one-time discounted purchase;

● Strategy Board: Optimized the interface layout; added AZ3 Nuclear Plant—Operations Level 9 unlocks AZ3 Nuclear Plant Easy Operation, Level 14 unlocks Normal Operation;

● Special Class Mezzanine: In Common and Normal Operations at Zero Dam and AZ3 Nuclear Plant, loot from Warlords and Special Classes will appear in the mezzanine, which contains Collectibles and Boss Black Cards.

● New In-Match Mode—Ahsarah Card:

○ New Collectibles can be found in-match: Ahsarah Cards and Ahsarah Card Boxes;

○ Use Card Boxes outside of matches to store collected Ahsarah Cards. Fill a Card Box with a complete, non-duplicate set of Ahsarah Cards, then bring it into a match to play cards with friends;

○ Card Boxes and Big Jokers are Red quality; Little Jokers are Gold quality; Aces are Purple quality; J–K are Blue quality; 2–10 are Green quality;

○ Ahsarah Card series cards cannot be listed on the Auction House.

● Gear Tickets: To enrich gear combination strategies and enhance gameplay diversity, we're adjusting various Gear Ticket loadouts. Specific changes are as follows:

○ Optimized ammo distribution in Gear Tickets; select sets now include Tier 5 ammo and Season ammo;

○ Elite Gear Ticket:

■ Balanced: Removed MCX LT Assault Rifle, added RM277 Assault Rifle;

○ Spec Ops Gear Ticket:

■ Survival: Removed KC-17 Assault Rifle, added SVCH Marksman Rifle;

○ Season Custom Gear Ticket:

Operator Balance Adjustments

Operator - Morse

All Modes:

● Advanced Sonar Device:

○ A detection range preview line can now be viewed on the map before deployment ↑;

● Throwable Jammer:

○ Increased the draw sound propagation range and pre-throw sound propagation range: 10m → 30m ↓;

○ Increased the jammer's warning visibility—enemies can now more easily counter it using the warning indicator ↓;

○ Increased Jammer explosion delay: 0.3s → 1s ↓;

○ Significantly reduced the stun effect's restriction on camera rotation—enemies can now turn around much more easily ↓.

Operations:

● Advanced Sonar Device:

○ Enemy device mark visible distance on map: Full map → 80m ↑;

● Throwable Jammer:

○ Cooldown: 35s → 40s ↓;

● Sonic Sense:

○ Squadmates can now also see marked enemies on the minimap ↑.

○ Now displays the number of enemy Operators paralyzed ↑;

Warfare:

● Sonic Paralysis:

○ Enemy device mark visible distance on map: Full map → 80m ↑.

Operator - Sineva

All Modes:

● EOD Set

○ Increased weapon switch speed when switching away from the Blast Shield ↑;

○ Re-enabled the Inspection function while the EOD Set is active.

Operator - Tempest

Warfare:

● Drill Charge:

○ Hit Damage: 60 → 40 ↓;

Operator - Toxik

Operations:

● "Dragonfly" Swarm System:

○ Significantly increased the drain speed of "Dragonfly" during the initial hit phase ↑:

1–3s after hit: reduces max HP by 12 per second;

3–6s after hit: reduces max HP by 9 per second;

6s+ after hit: reduces max HP by 6 per second.

Operator - Vlinder

Warfare:

● Flutter Rescue UAVs

○ Removed the score for completing plasma injections and the score for friendly remote rescues;

● Remote Rescue Score: 25 → 50 ↑;

Operator-Related Bug Fixes & Optimizations

● Fixed an occasional missing item effects issue with Toxik - Exusiai·Midnight Delivery;

● Fixed an issue where Hackclaw's Data Knife failed to interrupt Nox's Silent Assault;

● Fixed an issue where Morse's Flashbang effects were inconsistent between PC and mobile;

● Fixed an issue where Gizmo's Crawler Nest lost sound effects after being placed for an extended period;

● Fixed an issue where Uluru's Quickset Cover could be deployed on vehicles;

● Fixed an issue where Nox's Flashbang could not be replenished in Victory Unite mode;

● Fixed an issue where Raptor's Trail Investigation failed to update enemy status when enemies were already dead or extracted;

● Fixed an issue where Shepherd failed to receive UAV Paralyze notifications;

● Fixed an issue where Uluru's Battle Hardened effect did not apply to certain Slow effects;

● Fixed an issue where the minimap displayed abnormally after being hit by a Drill Charge in Warfare;

● Improved the compatibility of Vlinder's Med Dust trail effects at medium and low graphics settings;

● On mobile, Uluru's Loitering Munition camera will now automatically re-center when no significant gyroscope steering input is detected;

● Adjusted the grenade projectile model scale of D-wolf's Triple Blaster for a more accurate appearance;

● Fixed an issue where D-wolf occasionally stuttered during Tactical Slide;

● Improved the alert sound effects of Morse's Advanced Sonar Device in Warfare—friendly squadmates will no longer receive the alert sound, preventing unnecessary combat disruption.
