Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor 1.1 Patch 1 Notes (27th May 2026)
Ghost Ship Publishing has pushed the first patch for Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor's 1.1 update, tackling memory leaks, enemy AI bugs, and a handful of frustrating progression issues.
A Unity engine upgrade sits at the top of today's 1.1 Patch 1 for Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, and it's doing real work. The move to Unity 6000.4.7f1 fixes a memory leak, and the team has also adjusted texture resolutions and improved how assets are stored in memory. If you've noticed performance degrading over longer sessions, this patch is directly targeting that.
On the bug fix side, a few of these are more impactful than they sound. Overclocks being pickable multiple times was a balance-breaker, and sectors unlocking without clearing the gate was the kind of progression exploit that quietly undermines the whole run structure. The Warden teleporting across the map is also gone, which I imagine has ended more than a few runs unfairly.
Drone-based sidearm overclocks now count toward the three sidearm mission goal, which is a small but player-friendly correction. The proximity mine audio fix is also in here, because apparently they were detonating at eardrum-destroying volume near the drop pod. Everything in the update is listed below.
