Dark and Darker Early Access Hotfix #112-1 Patch (9th April 2026)
Ironmace drops Hotfix #112-1 for Dark and Darker, bringing a Glaciate exploit fix, sweeping Squires to Riches changes, and a new Unique accessory crafting option via the Goldsmith.
Early Access Hotfix #112-1 went live today for Dark and Darker, and the headliner is a fix for the Sorcerer's Glaciate bypassing its Tier 1 cooldown. That was a real problem in practice; an ability that ignores its own cooldown restriction isn't a perk, it's a bug that warps every lobby it touches.
The Squires to Riches mode gets the most attention here. Ironmace has increased team counts per floor, extended session time, cut zone damage, reworked Red Portal spawns to push more players deeper faster, and significantly bumped floor reward tiers. Boss rooms stay, but the bosses themselves are gone. That last change closely; it either smooths out a frustrating bottleneck or removes a meaningful risk-reward moment depending on how you play the mode.
On the balance side, Cleric healing takes a noticeable hit with Lesser Heal and Holy Light scaling dropping from 1.0 to 0.8. Bard's Shriek of Weakness and Harmonic Shield have both been reworked to trade Armor Rating for flat Physical Damage Reduction values instead. And credit where it's due: adding Unique-grade accessory crafting through the Goldsmith is a genuine quality-of-life addition. Full patch notes below.
