Crimson Desert Notes 1.06.01 (All Platforms Hotfix) (12th May 2026)

A small but targeted hotfix lands for Crimson Desert, clearing a progression blocker in the Vault of Vengeance Abyss.

If you've been hitting a wall in the Vault of Vengeance Abyss, today's hotfix is the one you've been waiting for. Pearl Abyss pushed version 1.06.01 to both Steam PC and Steam Mac this morning, and the headline fix is a progression blocker that was making the Abyss content completely inaccessible for affected players.

A progression blocker in endgame content is about as bad as bugs get. You can tolerate visual glitches or minor balance oddities, but being unable to advance through a core piece of content after putting hours in is frustrating, and it's good to see Pearl Abyss move quickly on this one. The turnaround from 1.06.00 yesterday to a hotfix today suggests they had eyes on this issue fast.

This is a lean patch with a single fix, so don't expect sweeping changes to the build you've been running since the lion and tiger mount update dropped. For any outstanding issues not addressed here, Pearl Abyss is directing players to their known issues notice. Full patch notes below.
