Conan Exiles May Hotfix 1.0.3 Patch Notes (13th May 2026)
Conan Exiles Hotfix 1.0.3 is live, tackling emote wipes, nudity setting overrides, and a handful of server-side fixes.
The emote issue is the one players will care most about here. A bug was wiping emotes that characters had learned from world discovery, effectively deleting progression tied to exploration. The fix is in with May Hotfix 1.0.3, but there's a catch: any emotes already lost won't be restored. You'll need to go find and re-learn them manually, which is frustrating if you'd already put the hours in.
On the server side, Living Settlements have been re-enabled on servers 1516, 1942, and 1509 after being pulled offline. Legacy servers upgrading to Enhanced mode no longer require manual config file edits for version compatibility, which should reduce friction for server admins considerably. There's also a fix for player disconnects not registering correctly with the dedicated server launcher.
Steam Deck players get a small quality-of-life improvement too, with changes to the Funcom launcher simplifying how BattlEye launches on Valve's hardware. Nudity settings have also been corrected; your client preferences will no longer be silently overwritten by server settings. Small patch overall, but the emote rollback caveat stings a little.
The complete notes are below.
