If your favorite servers kept vanishing between sessions, today's patch is the one you've been waiting for. May Hotfix 1.0.2 is live now for Conan Exiles, and it's a tight, infrastructure-focused update rather than a content drop.

The two most player-facing fixes tackle the server browser directly. Favorite servers were failing to persist between sessions, and on top of that, the favorites filter was incorrectly flagging every server as a favorite, making the feature essentially useless. Both are squashed here. IPv6 servers were also silently missing from the browser entirely, which would have been quietly infuriating for anyone running or trying to connect to an affected server.

Funimcom has also added an opt-in crash reporting argument for dedicated server admins. Launching with -SendUnattendedBugReports lets servers forward crash data directly to the team, which is a sensible move if you're running a private server that keeps going down unexpectedly. Small patch, but these server browser fixes were disruptive for anyone trying to maintain a regular server list. The complete notes are below.

Full Patch Notes

We have a new hotfix for you today that addresses the following issues:

  • Fixed an issue where favorite servers would not be saved between sessions.
  • Fixed an issue where filtering servers by favorites showed all servers as favorites.
  • Dedicated servers can opt-in to send us crash reports with the launch argument -SendUnattendedBugReports
  • Server admins can launch with this option if experiencing server crashes to give us information to investigate
  • Fix an issue that was preventing servers with an IPv6 address from showing up in the server browser
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing the client from showing previously played servers
