Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Black Ops 7 Update Notes (5th May 2026)

Black Ops 7's Season 03 Reloaded update quietly addresses some frustrating Endgame and Zombies bugs alongside a Strider 300 fix that nearly slipped through the cracks.

The Season 03 Reloaded May 1 update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is a targeted bug-fix drop rather than a sweeping balance pass, but a couple of the fixes here matter.

Endgame players will be relieved to see two significant issues addressed: Exfil locations failing to refresh over the course of a match was a real problem for anyone trying to plan an exit, and the Combat Rating reset bug after using a Restore Token was could cost you hours of progress. Operation Broken Mirror's Step 8 also got a tweak, removing the Thermal Spike requirement from the "Blade and Flame" challenge. There's also a Strider 300 ADS animation improvement that Activision admits was missed from the original Season 03 Reloaded notes, which is at least an honest acknowledgement rather than pretending it was always there.

On the Zombies side, pathing fixes for Ashwood Survival's Sheriff's Office and the Paradox Junction piano interaction round out a small but sensible patch. Everything in the update is listed below.
