Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Black Ops 7 Update Notes (22nd May 2026)

Today's Black Ops 7 Season 03 update is a small one, but it clears up a few annoying issues. The most visible fix is a UI bug where toggling weapon fire mode wasn't reflecting on screen, which is the sort of thing that quietly erodes trust in your loadout mid-match. Not a meta-shaking patch, but a clean-up job that needed doing.

On the Ranked Play side, several MPC-25 attachments have been added to the restrictions list, including the K&S Compensator, K&S Brake-2B, Flowguard Foregrip, Recoil Sync Unit, and 5.56x30mm FMJ. If you were running any of those in competitive, your build needs a rework before you queue. The Black Hat Field Upgrade also gets a fix for a bug that left players stuck holding an undeployable Sentry Turret after stealing an enemy's, which was a pretty punishing glitch in a mode where every second counts.

Zombies players chasing completionist titles get some relief too: the Aether Ruler title unlock was broken, and Endgame's Act II Step 8 challenge tracking was misfiring. Small fixes on paper, but if you've been grinding those objectives and seeing no progress, this patch is the one you've been waiting for.
