Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Black Ops 7 Update Notes (14th May 2026)
Ranked Play Forfeit is back and Totenreich's nastiest progression bugs are gone in today's Black Ops 7 update.

Ranked Play Forfeit is back. Activision quietly disabled it after players found a way to time Forfeit votes to dodge SR losses, and today's Season 03 patch re-enables it alongside a fix for that exact exploit. It's a small change, but SR manipulation in ranked modes is quietly poisons a competitive ecosystem, so getting this sorted matters.
Zombies players running Totenreich get the most meaningful fixes here. A bug in the Cursed mode was letting the Rocket Relic block Main Quest progression entirely, and a separate issue could get players physically stuck inside an ice wall during the Final Encounter. Both are resolved. The Wild Fire Field Upgrade was also losing its Augments on game close, which is a frustrating way to lose build progress mid-session.
On the Multiplayer side, Summit and Gridlock each get out-of-bounds and collision fixes carried over from the May 11 update, and Private Match now shows incompatible modes instead of hiding them. Smaller stuff, but cleaner than before. Here's everything that changed.
