Treyarch's Season 04 Reloaded update dropped on July 2, and it's stuffed with content across multiplayer, Zombies, and Endgame. The mid-season refresh brings returning maps Launch and Zenith alongside fresh modes, plus the long-awaited Kowakujō round-based Zombies map set in a lava-engulfed Japanese castle.

On the multiplayer side, Black Ops Classic becomes permanent with four remastered maps rotating in, and Team Blueprint Sharpshooter introduces cycling loadouts with preset weapon blueprints and killstreak bonuses. The AN-94 assault rifle returns with its signature two-round burst mechanic, and three new weapon attachments add fresh customisation angles. Knife Fight, a 2v2 melee-only Gunfight variant, launches in-season for close-quarters enthusiasts.

Zombies gets the spotlight with the Oni enemy type, a relentless yōkai wielding a spiked kanabō, and the Hellping Hound GobbleGum summons friendly Hellhounds to thin crowds. The patch also addresses a raft of stability issues and fixes trap challenges, objective markers, and save-load bugs across multiple modes. Full patch notes including every Kowakujō spawn fix and UI correction are below.
