ARK: Survival Ascended Client v91.6 Patch Notes (10th July 2026)
Lumina arrives in Dragontopia, ships get a physics overhaul, and Studio Wildcard fixes a mountain of creature bugs and exploit issues.

ARK: Survival Ascended's v91.6 patch lands with Dragontopia's Day One content update, introducing Lumina, the light counterpart to Umbra the shadow dragon. If you've been wrestling with Umbra's targeting issues or gamepad controls, this patch addresses those frustrations alongside a suite of Dragontopia fixes that should make the new map feel considerably more stable.
The real mechanical win here is the ship overhaul. Studio Wildcard has reworked ship physics entirely, improving buoyancy and reducing the Sloop's max speed and steering by roughly 10 percent. That sounds like a nerf, but it's actually a balance pass. Ships were dominating PvP and PvE encounters too thoroughly. The patch also fixes the Shipyard's obstruction detection, prevents docked ships from being destroyed too easily, and solves desync issues that plagued multiplayer sailing. For players who've been building on ships, snapping structures now works properly, and you can finally use Soap on your deck without it breaking.
Beyond vessels, expect fixes for Bloodstalker cloning, Tidepup XP retention, Palaeoctopus attack radius, and an one-time Ferox cleanup to address an exploit. The Hand Cannon gets a 300 percent damage increase, and the Tek Bunker is now available through the Tek Replicator. Full details on every Dragontopia dragon fix and ship stability improvement are below.
