Apex Legends: Latest Update Patch Notes (30th May 2026)
Respawn has pushed a small but pointed balance patch to Apex Legends, trimming Axle's Nitro Gate and softening Conduit's shield regen.
Two legends just got pulled back to earth. Respawn pushed a live balance update to Apex Legends on 29th May, and the official patch notes are short but pointed.
Axle's Nitro Gate takes the harder hit: max in-world gates drop from 3 to 2, and HP falls from 150 to 100. That's a meaningful nerf to his map-control potential. Fewer gates means harder choices about placement, and halving the durability makes them far easier to clear out. Axle players will need to be a lot more deliberate about where they commit.
Conduit's Radiant Transfer changes are more surgical. Regen rate drops from 15/s to 10/s, but the duration stretches from 6 to 8 seconds, so the total shield restored to allies goes from 90 down to 80. Self-regen takes a smaller cut too, landing at 56 from 60. Respawn is clearly trying to smooth out the burst feel of her kit rather than gut it entirely, which I think is the right call. Here's the full breakdown.
