Apex Legends: Latest Update Patch Notes (2nd June 2026)
A small but welcome Apex Legends patch lands today, fixing a Kings Canyon boundary glitch and a missing backpack on respawn.

Two bugs, one patch. Respawn has pushed a minor update to Apex Legends today, and while it's not a sweeping balance pass, both fixes are ones players will actually notice.
The bigger of the two targets Kings Canyon: reinforcing Hard Light was causing buildings to flip out-of-bounds status, which is the sort of map-breaking bug that can kill a rotation or cost you a fight through no fault of your own. Glad that one's gone. The second fix addresses players respawning without a backpack after being brought back at a Respawn Beacon, leaving them unable to carry ammo or heals properly until they found a replacement. In a game where looting speed matters, that's a punishing bug to run into mid-match.
Neither change touches the meta, but clean-up patches like this keep the game feeling stable between larger updates. If you've been running Kings Canyon this week, the backpack fix is the one to watch for.
