Apex Legends: Latest Update 5PM PT Patch Notes (11th May 2026)
A small but targeted Apex Legends patch landed on May 11, addressing Conduit's passive visual effect and a loading screen issue.

Small patch, but one a lot of Conduit players will appreciate. The May 11 update landed at 5PM PT and targets two specific issues that have been quietly bugging people for a while.
The bigger of the two fixes is the reduction of Conduit's passive colour overlay effect. If you've played against a Conduit recently, you'll know her passive could wash your screen in a distracting tint, making it harder to track targets during a fight. Toning that down is a quality-of-life improvement for everyone on the receiving end of it. The second fix improves the transition screen UI to better communicate that the game is still loading, which should cut down on the number of players force-quitting because they assumed the client had frozen.
Neither change reshuffles the meta, but Respawn clearly identified two friction points and addressed them cleanly. I'll take that over a bloated patch that breaks three things while fixing one. The complete notes are below.
