Nintendo’s president, Shuntaro Furukawa, recently confirmed that a Nintendo Direct showcase is set to take place in June of this year. This event will unveil the lineup of games coming to the beloved Nintendo Switch for the second half of 2024. However, it's important to note that the upcoming showcase will not be the platform where the successor to the Switch will be revealed.
In a post on Twitter, Furukawa made the announcement, reassuring fans that while the successor to the Switch will be announced within this fiscal year, it will not be part of the June Nintendo Direct event.
