Another user, Ok-Fudge8848 added, "This potential for new Megas is immensely thrilling. The feature had tremendous potential which was, unfortunately, eclipsed due to its discontinuation."
Mega Evolutions, which debuted in Pokémon X and Y (linked to Pokémon Legends: Z-A), allowed Pokémon to evolve beyond their standard abilities temporarily.
