Exciting news has surfaced regarding Valve's upcoming game, which is now officially named Deadlock. Previously known as Neon Prime and Citadel during its development phase at Valve, the game appears to be a 6 vs 6 third-person hero shooter, as confirmed by a tweet from Gabe Follower.

According to GabeFollower on Twitter, Deadlock will offer players large maps with four attack lanes featuring tower defense elements, along with a variety of unique items and abilities to enhance gameplay. Gabe Follower also hinted at the game's setting, mentioning a blend of fantasy and steampunk with magicians, strange creatures, and robots.

But that's not all - fast travel in Deadlock is said to be an exciting experience, as players will utilize floating rails akin to those in Bioshock Infinite.

Keep an eye on any further updates and remember, this isn't a confirmed game as of yet.
