The Valorant community is taking a stand against toxic behaviour after a Twitch streamer, Taylor Morgan, was subjected to disturbing threats during a live broadcast.

On May 13, a teammate of Morgan's made a horrendous rape threat against her during a game, prompting her to leave the stream and call on Riot Games to take action against such behaviour. This incident has sparked outrage within the community, with many demanding stricter penalties for players who engage in unacceptable conduct.

In her response to the incident, Morgan highlighted the need for more severe punishments, such as hardware bans, to deter players from making offensive comments. She expressed frustration with Riot's current penalty system, which she believes is not effective in preventing reoffending.

Many other players echoed Morgan's sentiments, pointing out that the in-game reporting system is often ineffective in addressing such issues. The community is calling on Riot to take a stronger stance against toxic behaviour and ensure that all players are held accountable for their actions.

It is crucial for Riot to address these concerns and create a safe and inclusive environment for all players. Failure to do so could result in further incidents of harassment and discrimination within the community. All eyes are on Riot to take action and show that they are committed to creating a positive gaming experience for everyone.

As of writing this article, Riot have not responded.
