If you are a fan of the original Valiant Hearts game, then you will be thrilled to know that the sequel, Valiant Hearts: Coming Home, is being released on consoles and PC today.
Originally launched in January 2023 as a mobile game exclusively for Netflix subscribers, the game has now made its way to platforms such as PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
For those who can't get enough of the Valiant Hearts series, there is also a bundle available called Valiant Hearts: The Collection, which includes both games at a discounted price.
Valiant Hearts: Coming Home was released as part of a three-game exclusivity deal between Netflix and Ubisoft, almost a decade after the previous title, Valiant Hearts: The Great War. The Great War has been highly praised over the years on platforms such as Steam for its themes, visuals, music, and its ability to educate players about World War 1 history.
Set after the events of The Great War, Coming Home follows "four interweaving stories of friendship, survival, and sacrifice amidst the turmoil and tragedy of war."
Similar to the first game, Coming Home features multiple protagonists, each with their own unique story that intertwines with the others. According to Ubisoft, "James is a member of the historic Harlem Hellfighters looking for his older brother Freddie, nurse Anna returns to her work tending the wounded, Ernst is a German diver, and George is a British aviator. And, of course, the good dog Walt returns to help players with puzzles and exploration."
