If you are a fan of Escape from Tarkov, you'll be thrilled to hear about the new update that just dropped. Battlestate Games has introduced a series of substantial changes that are sure to keep players engaged and on their toes. One of the most significant updates is the implementation of a 'seasons system', which will introduce periodic changes to the game's visuals, ambient sounds, and weather effects.

As the seasons change in the real world, so too will they change in Tarkov. Expect more rain in spring, brighter sunshine in summer, and heavier snowfall in winter. Additionally, the ambient sounds in the game will also evolve to reflect these seasonal shifts. This dynamic feature adds a new layer of realism and immersion to the gameplay experience.

In the latest update (0.14.5.0), Battlestate Games has also added the BTR-82A roaming APC to the Woods map. This heavily armed vehicle will traverse the map, stopping at key locations and providing services to players. This addition adds an element of unpredictability and excitement to gameplay on Woods, one of Tarkov's most expansive maps.

Ground Zero, the map introduced after the last 'wipe', has also undergone significant changes. Players will now be matched with others of similar levels, with experienced players facing tougher scavenger enemies, encountering more rare loot, and even having the chance to come face to face with Kollontay, a formidable new boss.

If you want to delve deeper into the specifics of the 0.14.5.0 update, you can find the full patch notes on the Escape from Tarkov blog.
