Square Enix has recently identified a bug in Final Fantasy 16 that can hinder progress in New Game Plus mode. The issue occurs when players choose to skip the prologue while starting a New Game +, resulting in party members not appearing on the screen during the main scenario quest "A Chance Encounter."
The development team has made fixing this bug a top priority and is working on releasing an update patch to address and resolve the issue. In the meantime, they have provided some temporary workarounds to help players continue their adventure.
We would like to bring players' attention to a known issue in Final Fantasy XVI that could impede game progress. The team is currently investigating the issue and has prioritized finding a solution.
