Roblox Studio, a popular development environment for creating games within the Roblox platform, has faced criticism for allowing children to make money through their creations. Some argue that Roblox profits off the work of young developers, but the head of Roblox Studio, Stefano Corazza, sees it differently.

In an interview with Eurogamer, Corazza defended the platform's practices, stating that enabling children to earn money through their creations can be seen as a gift rather than exploitation. He highlighted the opportunities that Roblox provides for young developers, especially those facing challenging circumstances.

Corazza emphasized the positive impact of Roblox on individuals worldwide, noting, "I can be like 15 years old, in Indonesia, living in a slum, and then now, with just a laptop, I can create something, make money and then sustain my life."

He further mentioned the success stories of teenagers who have earned significant sums through Roblox, leading them to view the platform as a valuable opportunity rather than exploitation. Corazza highlighted the substantial income distributed to creators on Roblox, which is nearing a billion dollars annually.
