According to an updated report from Reuters, there may be a delay in the release of Assassin's Creed Jade, pushing it to 2025. This delay comes after a significant shakeup at Tencent, the game's developer.

Reports from anonymous sources suggest that Tencent has made changes within its development team, leading to the redeployment of hundreds of individuals who were working on Assassin's Creed Jade. Instead, the team is now focusing on the mobile party game DreamStar. While Ubisoft, the publisher of the game, has not officially confirmed a new release date, many had previously speculated on a 2024 launch.

Assassin's Creed Jade promises to be an exciting mobile adventure set in Ancient China. Leaked gameplay footage from 2023 revealed a variety of gaming elements, providing fans with a glimpse of what to expect. Additionally, players had the opportunity to participate in the beta version of the game in 2022, giving them a taste of what's to come.

The most recent installment in the series, Assassin's Creed Mirage, received mixed reviews from fans. Despite the polarised opinions, the game managed to refine its storytelling, bring back the parkour mechanics, and reconnect with the franchise's initial essence.
