Paradox Interactive has recently announced a slight delay in the release date for Prison Architect 2, moving it from May to September. While this may come as a disappointment to some, the developers are taking the extra time to ensure the game meets the highest quality standards possible.
Originally teased in January and subsequently announced as a sequel to the popular Prison Architect game, the release date for Prison Architect 2 has seen a few adjustments. The game was originally set to launch on March 26th but was later pushed back to May 7th. Now, with the latest announcement from Paradox, fans can expect to get their hands on Prison Architect 2 on September 3rd.
The delay, as explained by Paradox, is due to technical issues related to memory usage and minimum-spec configurations. While the game is technically ready for release, the developers are working to optimize it for low-spec machines, which has led to the emergence of new technical challenges that need to be addressed.
Prison Architect 2 promises to elevate the gameplay experience of its predecessor by introducing new features such as multi-level prisons, improved AI for inmates and guards, and an upgraded Career Mode.
