According to insider reports from Midori, a reliable source known for leaking information about Atlus titles, it seems that Persona 1 and Persona 2 are set to receive remakes in the near future.

Midori responded to a user's inquiry on social media, confirming the news with a simple "Yes. P1 and P2 are going to receive remakes too." To further clarify, Midori mentioned that for now, they will refer to them as updated forms.

This news comes after the successful release of Persona 3: Reload earlier this year, marking a new era for the series. Following the long-standing exclusivity of Persona titles on PlayStation platforms, Persona 3: Reload broke the mold by coming to all gaming platforms.

Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal also made the leap to Xbox consoles recently, with Midori hinting that Persona 6 is in the works and would launch on Xbox platforms alongside Nintendo's upcoming console.

But that's not all! Atlus is also gearing up to release Metaphor: ReFantazio later this year, with availability on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC. Originally known as Project Re Fantasy, Metaphor: ReFantazio is Studio Zero's first original RPG project.

Studio Zero boasts an impressive lineup of developers, including Katsura Hashino, Shigenori Soejima, and Shoji Meguro, who played pivotal roles in the Persona series. With such talent behind the project, fans can expect an incredible gaming experience.
