A new Mortal Kombat gameplay trailer has been released showcasing the upcoming DLC character Homelander in action. This villainous character from the popular Amazon Prime Video series The Boys is set to join the Mortal Kombat roster in the near future, adding an exciting new dimension to the game.

The trailer offers a glimpse of Homelander's unique abilities, including his personal obsession with drinking breast milk. In one particularly brutal fatality, he uppercuts his opponent into the sky, only to have them meet a tragic end at the hands of a passing jet plane. It's safe to say that Homelander will bring his own brand of chaos to the Mortal Kombat arena.

Homelander will be the fifth DLC character to be introduced as part of the Kombat Pack 1 pass. Previous additions include Omni-Man, Quan Chi, and Suicide Squad's Peacemaker. Mortal Kombat ninja Ermac was the most recent character to be added, with Homelander set to make his debut sometime this spring. The final DLC character, Takeda Takahashi from Mortal Kombat X, will join the roster in the summer.

Like the other DLC characters, Homelander will first be available as part of the Kombat Pack before being offered as a standalone purchase. The Kombat Pack, priced at $39.99 / £34.99, includes not only the new characters but also additional content such as the Johnny Cage character skin based on Jean-Claude Van Damme.
