Exciting news for LEGO Fortnite fans as Epic Games has announced the upcoming Mechanical Mayhem update, set to release on March 26, 2024. This major update focuses on vehicles, offering players the opportunity to build and customize their own unique vehicles within the game.

The update includes three preset vehicles - the speedy Speeder, the rugged Offroader capable of carrying multiple passengers, and the versatile Hauler with a spacious trunk for heavy lifting. Players also have the ability to create custom vehicles using various parts like the Power Center, Power Cells, wheels, seats, and more.

Additionally, a new tool called the wrench has been introduced, allowing players to assign switches and thrusters to channels for more control over their vehicles. The update also introduces illuminators that can be used as vehicle lights.

Along with the vehicle-focused additions, the Mechanical Mayhem update brings new villagers, LEGO Styles for existing skins, and new food recipes including Ice Cream, Snowberry Ice Cream, and Spicy Ice Cream. The update also includes quality of life improvements such as a smart transfer feature for items, visual indicators for construct damage, and more stable constructs when entering/exiting caves or traveling long distances.

LEGO Fortnite is part of Epic Games' initiative to expand the game beyond its battle royale roots into a metaverse offering diverse gameplay experiences. With updates like Mechanical Mayhem, players can expect continued innovation and new content in the LEGO Fortnite universe.
