Next week, Mortal Kombat 1 welcomes its newest DLC character, Peacemaker, featuring the renowned John Cena in both voice and appearance. Warner Bros Games and NetherRealm Studios have revealed a thrilling trailer showcasing the Suicide Squad's iconic character, complete with Cena's voice, tailored specifically for this game.

Peacemaker is set to disrupt Liu Kang's peaceful reign with a diverse arsenal, including his sharpshooting prowess, unique helmet capabilities, and the assistance of his faithful bald eagle, Eagly. His introduction promises a blend of impressive combat skills, signature dance moves, and bold humor.

Additionally, the trailer introduces Janet Cage, a female counterpart to Johnny Cage, as a new Kameo character. Having made a brief appearance in the game's Story mode, Janet Cage now officially enters the fray, available both within the Kombat Pack and as a separate purchase.

Kombat Pack holders can start playing as Peacemaker from February 28, with a general release set for March 6, allowing others to purchase him. Janet Cage will be accessible as a Kameo character later in March. This update also brings the eagerly awaited cross-play support, enabling PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC gamers to compete across 1 vs 1 Kombat League matches, Kasual matches, and Private matches starting February 28.
