Exciting news has surfaced in the gaming world as Ubisoft prepares to host the much-anticipated Ubisoft Forward event in Los Angeles on June 10. Speculation is rife among gamers about what surprises the showcase might hold, with hopes high for the unveiling of a new, or possibly remade, Splinter Cell game.

A recent update from Ubisoft Toronto's social media channels has added fuel to the fire. The studio, known for its stealth shooter games, made changes to its Facebook profile, featuring images that pay homage to Splinter Cell, a franchise that has been dormant for over a decade.

Ubisoft Toronto had previously hinted at working on a remake of the original Splinter Cell game a couple of years ago. Since then, details about the project have been scarce. However, the recent social media update suggests that an announcement regarding the Splinter Cell remake may be imminent.

While this is purely speculation at this point, the timing aligns perfectly with the Ubisoft Forward event. Fans are eagerly anticipating the return of Splinter Cell, as it remains one of Ubisoft's core franchises that has yet to receive a new installment in recent years.

Aside from Splinter Cell, gamers are also hoping for updates on other beloved Ubisoft titles such as The Division, Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red, Far Cry, and possibly the long-awaited Skull & Bones.
