Supergiant Games’ Hades 2 has taken the gaming world by storm, surpassing its predecessor in player numbers on Steam. With the game currently in early access, players are eagerly anticipating the upcoming major update that promises to bring new locations, enemies, features, and more content to the game.

According to creative director Greg Kasavin in an interview with PC Gamer, the team is focused on delivering short-term patches to address player feedback and improve the overall gameplay experience. These patches aim to address any issues raised by players while enhancing the game for those who are already enjoying it.

Once these smaller patches are complete, the team will shift their focus to developing the first major update for Hades 2. This update is expected to introduce significant additions to the game, including new locations, enemies, and features. Kasavin mentioned that they plan to release the update and then follow up with several patches to address any issues that may arise.

While the exact release date for version 1.0 of Hades 2 remains unknown, Supergiant Games has confirmed that the game will stay in early access at least until the end of the year. This timeline allows the team to gather feedback from players, make necessary improvements, and ensure that the game is polished before its full release.

For fans of the original Hades, the sequel promises to offer even more content and a more complete gaming experience. While the game may still be in development, the team's commitment to delivering quality updates and listening to player feedback bodes well for the future of Hades 2.
