George Miller, the acclaimed director behind the Mad Max franchise, recently expressed his desire to see a new game based on the series developed by none other than Hideo Kojima. In a conversation with Gamingbible, Miller mentioned his admiration for Kojima's work and how he envisions a Mad Max game crafted by the renowned game creator.

While Miller acknowledged the 2015 Mad Max game developed by Avalanche Software, he felt that it didn't quite meet the level of quality he had hoped for. Despite the game's existing fanbase, Miller emphasized his preference for projects that strive for excellence and innovation.

During the interview, Miller shared his encounter with Kojima at the premiere of his latest film, Furiosa. He expressed his reluctance to directly approach Kojima with the idea but mused about the potential of a collaboration between the two visionaries. However, given Kojima Productions' current commitments, including the upcoming release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the prospect of a Kojima-led Mad Max game remains uncertain.

While fans may dream of a Mad Max game envisioned by Hideo Kojima, the reality of such a project coming to fruition in the near future seems unlikely. With Kojima's creative plate full with various projects, including collaborations with Microsoft and Sony, the wait for a potential Mad Max game from the iconic developer may be a long one.
