As the Fortnite season continues, Epic Games has been active in releasing balance changes to ensure fairness in the game. The most recent update, v29.20, brought about more adjustments to Fortnite weapons.

One of the notable changes in this update was the nerf to the Frenzy Auto Shotgun, a close-range weapon introduced in Chapter 5 Season 1. Similar to the Tactical Shotgun, the Frenzy Auto Shotgun was a beloved choice among players. However, with the latest nerf, the weapon may no longer hold the same appeal.

Epic Games announced that they reduced the fire rate of the Frenzy Auto Shotgun by 12%, now firing at 2.2 bullets per second instead of the previous 2.5. Additionally, the headshot multiplier was decreased by 5.7%, from 1.75 to 1.65.

Before the nerf, the Legendary Frenzy Auto Shotgun dealt 75 damage per hit, resulting in a DPS of 165 and a maximum damage per shot of just under 124. After the adjustments, the weapon's DPS decreased from 188 to 165, and its maximum damage dropped from 131 to 124. Even the Common (Gray) variant, which previously dealt 61 damage per shot, was affected by the changes.

Despite these alterations, Fortnite players are adapting to the new gameplay dynamics and exploring alternative weapon choices to maintain their competitive edge in the game. It's essential to stay updated with the latest balance changes to ensure a rewarding gaming experience in Fortnite.
