The upcoming Farm Friends update, v29.30, is set to arrive on April 23rd. In a new official blog post by the Fortnite team, players can expect a range of Village improvements and the introduction of animal recruitment.
The update will increase the Village recruitment cap to ten per Village, with seven slots available for animals. Along with cows, sheep, and chickens, players can now recruit pigs as new additions to their Village.
Additionally, the Farm Friends update will bring five new villagers, more animal variants, and a myriad of all-new styles. Fans are buzzing with excitement over the sheer number of new styles, including Aeronaut, Bonehead, Chopper, Far Out Man, Stage Slayer, and World Warrior.
Despite rumors of a potential 2024 roadmap leak for Fortnite, the Farm Friends update doesn’t seem to confirm anything. However, fans eagerly await the Star Wars crossover on May 3rd, which will also feature LEGO content. If the crossover aligns with the alleged roadmap leak, it could add credibility to the rumors.
Aside from new content, the Farm Friends update will address quality-of-life issues and bugs, with improvements like a Village Square UI overhaul to enhance players' village management experience.
