If you've been playing the XDefiant server test and wondering why the Splinter Cell class is missing, don't worry, it's not a bug – the Echelon faction has been pulled from the game. The reason behind this removal seems to be related to a bug that was making the class overpowered.
One of the key abilities of the Echelon class was the Ghillie Suit, allowing players to turn invisible at the press of a button. However, issues arose as players stayed invisible for extended periods even after firing their weapons. As a result, the Ghillie Suit was disabled to address this problem.
Heads up! We have disabled the Digital Ghillie Suit ability for Echelon due to an issue causing a rare Invisibility issue. We know, no more sneaky (for now), but try out the Intel Suit - it's quite revealing!

Despite efforts to fix the invisibility issues by removing the Ghillie Suit, the problems persisted, leading to the complete removal of the Echelon faction from the server test.

Thank you everybody for the bug reports and feedback, we appreciate you!
On top of that, the DedSec's spider-bot ability is also unavailable due to a last-minute bug, making it the third feature to be disabled in this test session.
While these issues may be frustrating for players, it's essential to remember that this is what testing is all about – identifying and addressing problems before the official game launch. The developers are undoubtedly working hard to find solutions to these issues to ensure a smooth gaming experience.
