Disney Games has recently made significant changes to its leadership team by bringing in top talent from renowned gaming companies.

Former Blizzard and Ubisoft veterans have joined the Disney Games team, adding to its pool of experienced leaders. Ray Gresko, previously the chief development officer at World of Warcraft studio Blizzard, has been appointed as the senior vice president of product and development. He will be closely involved in the creation of a new gaming universe in collaboration with Epic.

Bjorn Tornqvist, who has a wealth of experience from Ubisoft and its Swedish studio Massive, is now serving as the vice president of technology at Disney Games. His expertise in leading global teams on technical innovations will be a valuable asset to the team.

Meanwhile, Jay Ong, who led the Marvel Games team for almost a decade, will now oversee Disney's global games licensing business. Haluk Mentes will take over as the new head of Marvel Games, ensuring the continuity of high-quality gaming experiences.

Disney's partnership with Epic has opened up new opportunities for the company to create engaging content for its players. The new gaming universe, connected to Fortnite, will feature beloved franchises such as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and Avatar.

With the addition of seasoned professionals like Gresko, Tornqvist, and Ong, Disney Games is poised to deliver exceptional storytelling and entertainment experiences. The team, led by Sean Shoptaw, is focused on setting new industry standards and shaping the future of gaming.
