Bloodshot Eye Offering in Dead by Daylight "Permanently Disabled"

Dead by Daylight recently faced a controversy surrounding its Blood Moon event and specifically the Bloodshot Eye offering. Initially introduced as part of the event, the Bloodshot Eye offering had to be disabled due to an issue that caused Bloodpoint offerings to be discarded.

Following complaints from players, Dead by Daylight issued a statement on Twitter confirming that the Bloodshot Eye offering will not be re-enabled. This decision left many fans frustrated, especially those who had already spent Bloodpoints on the disabled offering.

In response to the situation, Dead by Daylight decided to compensate all players with 1 million Bloodpoints. While this gesture was appreciated by some, others felt it was insufficient given the duration of the event and the inconvenience caused by the disabled offering.

Despite the controversy, the Blood Moon event is still ongoing for a few more days, albeit without the problematic Bloodshot Eye offering. Players are encouraged to make the most of the event while it lasts, even though the offering remains disabled.
