The gaming world is abuzz with the latest update on the Beyond Good and Evil franchise. The much-awaited remaster, dubbed the '20th Anniversary Edition,' has recently received its rating from the South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee. While this development doesn't set a concrete release date in stone, sources close to Insider Gaming have revealed that Ubisoft is targeting a March 5th, 2024, launch. This date comes amidst concerns over Ubisoft's history of postponements, yet the rating hints at a nearing release.

Ubisoft has expressed its enthusiasm for the upcoming launch, promising an early 2024 release that pays homage to the original game's legacy. "We're excited to announce that the official launch is set for early 2024, and we're dedicated to making it an experience that truly honors the legacy of the original," stated Ubisoft in a recent announcement.

Late 2023 saw the leak of gameplay screenshots, which Ubisoft was quick to clarify as not reflective of the final product. However, these glimpses have only fueled the excitement among fans, offering a sneak peek into the remastered world of Hillys. Players will once again step into the shoes of action-reporter Jade, unraveling the mysteries behind the DomZ alien attacks with the help of vibrant characters like her adoptive uncle Pey’j.

The anticipation also extends to Beyond Good and Evil 2, which remains in development limbo after over a decade. Despite the slow progress and uncertain release timeline, the sequel remains a topic of interest among the gaming community.

As the release of the Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition draws near, the question on everyone's mind is: Will you be diving back into the enchanting world of Hillys upon its release? Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates from Insider Gaming.
